Whether you’re looking to store important documents or the contents of a full three-to-four-bedroom home, City Storage has the unit size for you. You can choose to rent a self-storage unit at one of our three convenient locations or perhaps a mobile storage unit will better suit your needs.

First, select a room or boxes. Next, scroll through the list of items and add or subtract those you plan to store. For boxes, identify the number for each size. As you build your list of items to store, the results will change providing you with a suggested storage unit size. These general guidelines can vary based on the shape and layout of the items you plan to store as well as how efficiently they are packed.

Similar to a small closet
This storage unit ideally holds several boxes or plastic tubs, small pieces of furniture such as a desk and chair, seasonal items like snow tires, holiday décor, sports equipment, garden tools, or other small personal items.

Similar to a walk-in closet
This storage unit will hold the contents of a typical small 1-bedroom apartment or dorm room including a bed and box spring, a small sofa or chair, a coffee table, end tables, and several boxes. It’s great for decluttering space, and staging to sell your home or business inventory overflow.

Similar to an large walk-in closet
This storage unit will hold items like the contents of a typical small 1 bedroom apartment with several pieces of furniture like a sofa, dresser, bed frame, and mattress, plus a stacked washer and dryer, and several medium to large-sized boxes or tubs. It’s also great for patio furniture or home renovation supplies.

Similar to half of a one-car garage
This storage unit typically holds contents of a 1-bedroom apartment including family room furniture, large appliances, patio furniture, and several boxes. It’s also great for business inventory or equipment.

Similar to a large bedroom
This storage unit will hold the contents of a typical 2-bedroom apartment with multiple pieces of large furniture like sofas, dressers and beds, major appliances, large electronics, and numerous boxes and tubs. It’s also great for outdoor equipment like bicycles and lawnmowers.

Similar to a 1.5 car garage
This storage unit holds the contents of a typical 3-4 bedroom home including multiple large furniture items such as couches, beds, dressers, and dining sets, major appliances, patio furniture, and many boxes and storage bins. It may potentially store a vehicle such as a car or boat.

This steel box is designed specifically for ocean cargo but offers a great solution for mobile storage delivered right to your home.
